The use of interspinous devices has became a common procedure for different clinical cases of spinal disease. The failed back surgery is present in 8-20% of patient that underwent disectomy secondary to herniated disk. We present a 10 years follow up of 20 patients that undergo re-intervention for recurrence/fybrosis of herniated disk, treated with Interspinous Stabilization. We found no complications relatives to a technique and interspinous devices. The majority present a significant improvement in the pain clinic, they do not need medication for the pain or reduced it. 80% of the patient note a significative subjective improvement in quality of life. The laboral situation became the same. We think that the use of interspinous stabilizers have good long-term results in cases that are well indicated, without being aggressive devices that can alter spinal anatomy in the future.
