La Megacauda consiste en un aumento de las dimensiones del saco dural dorsolumbar o lumbar. La sintomatología se presenta de acuerdo al nivel anatómico. Es un trastorno congénito o adquirido, su presencia diagnosticada mediante Resonancia Magnética Nuclear no implica necesariamente la aparición de sintomatología.
Se presentan dieciocho casos tratados con resultados óptimos.
