Dentro de las diferentes localizaciones intracraneales en la hidatidosis, la localización en la fosa posterior es extraordinariamente rara. En el presente trabajo se describe un caso de quistes hidatídicos cerebelosos, en un paciente de 53 años de edad, que había sido intervenido 11 años antes por una hidatidosis cardíaca.
Cerebellar localization for intracranial hydatidic disease is very rare. In this brief report a case of cerebellar hydatidic cysts, in a 53-year-old man, is presented. In this patient, cerebellar lesions appeared eleven years after surgery for heart hydatidosis.
