We present an interesting case of intracavitary application of a chemotherapeutic agent (Mitoxantron) to treat “successfully” a cerebral metastasis. This therapeutic option should be reconsidered in selected cases and be included in the stereotactic protocols.
Presentamos un caso interesante de metástasis cerebral que se le aplicó un citostático intracavitario (Mitoxantron). Esta optión terapéutica debería ser re-considerada en casos seleccionados e incluirse en los protocolos estereotácticos.
