Resumen

Las complicaciones hemorrágicas intracraneales, alejadas del lecho quirúrgico son complicaciones poco habituales en Neurocirugía. Presentamos dos casos de hemorragia cerebelosa secundaria a cirugía supratentorial y realizamos una revisión sobre los 13 casos publicados previamente en la literatura.

Se revisan los diferentes mecanismos patogénicos propuestos así como las diferentes opciones terapéuticas.

Summary

Intracerebellar hemorrhage remote from the site of the neurosurgical operation is fortunately rare.

In this study, we report on two cases of remote cerebellar hemorrhage after supratentorial craniotomy; to our knowledge only 13 previous cases have been published.

The possible pathogenesis of these lesions is discussed, and therapeutics measures are revised.
